Hiring, performance management and termination are the three most critical steps in the employment relationship. I routinely counsel employers on hiring issues, including background checks and drug-testing; performance management, including drafting or reviewing and revising corrective action forms and performance improvement plans; and terminations, including any legal risks associated with a particular termination.
