I counsel businesses on conducting appropriate workplace investigations into complaints of illegal harassment or discrimination or alleged violations of company policy. I advise on preparing an investigation plan, conducting proper witness interviews, making a determination and preparing an appropriate investigation report.
I am also experienced in performing workplace investigations. In general, I perform these investigations for companies that I do not routinely represent and to which I do not provide general employment counseling (often at the request of another lawyer who does typically represent the entity in this capacity).
At the conclusion of a workplace investigation, I prepare a comprehensive investigation report to serve as evidence that the company took prompt and appropriate action in response to the complaint.
